How does solar water heater kit producing hot water?

Split pressurized solar water heater kit includes  hot water tank, solar collector and workstation three main components. Solar collector  produces the heat energy by absorbing sun energy. It is the generator of solar water heater kit system. The hot water tank plays the role of  the heat storage container. The workstation gives instruction to other  components to do the job  . It helps to control the system working : heat exchange circulation, anti-freeze circulation, protection system circulation, display the data of system and so on.

We usually recommend the customer to take  solar water heater tank with two coils as heat exchanger ,though one coil is enough for solar heat exchange. The additional coil is prepared for other functional such as supply heat for home heating or make up the energy from other heating device for hot water tank. If you just got a solar water heater tank by change with just one coil, but you want to do home heating or other heating purpose, what should you do ? Don't be panic. Here we have a  heat exchanger which can be placed outside the solar water heater kit tank.

You can study and find that copper coil size are different from other small capacity 100L to 300L, it is because we are enlarged the heat exchanger area for exchange heat suffiently.

While talking about the heat exchange ,we divided the solar water heater kit system into three different working ways.

First one: Storage tank without coil inside. The tank and solar collector exchange the heat by water, the system need circulation pump for running. And controller will plays the control brain for working.

Second one: storage tank designed with one copper coil, this coil is for solar circulation .solar collector conducts the heat by circulation pump to exchange the heat through storage tank coil. Usually circulation pipeline usually filling with anti-freeze fluid (glycol for example) as heat exchange media.

Third one: tank designed with two copper coils: one coil for solar circulation between solar collector and tank, the other one for heating equipment or space heating devices (such as connect to gas/electric boiler , and for floor heating system).
